When can I choose my new plan?
From November 1. Losing your Baylor Scott & White plan on December 31 is a qualifying life event, so your window runs until March 1, 2027. Choose by December 15 and your new plan starts January 1, with no gap. Other life changes can open a window too, like losing Medicaid, a new baby or a move. Your madrina checks for you, free.

If you bought your Baylor Scott & White plan on HealthCare.gov, the Marketplace may move you to a plan from another company on January 1. That plan may not include your doctors or medicines, and it may cost more. If you bought it directly from Baylor Scott & White, your coverage ends on December 31. Either way, choose your plan by December 15.
